Half of the day yesterday was bore-fest. Good thing Sherry went online and I invited her to watch Transformers with me in Trinoma. My treat. She was a little surprised yesterday when I said that it was my treat since it's been like 1901 when I last treated her out. Sherry has always been my closest girl-friend in college together with Beck, AK, Joan, Ria and Alda. I wonder where Joan, Alda and Ria are now. I had no gay friend back when they were my friends. With the exception of Jeff, Rhitz and Barry of course. Hahaha! Anyways, I checked the movie schedule and the showing time were 3pm, 5pm and 6pm. I picked 5pm and told Sherry that we meet by 4:30pm.

I arrived in Trinoma around 3:30pm. I strolled and went inside a lot of boutiques while waiting for Sherry to arrive. I wanted to buy a new jacket/cardigan/hoody and new snickers. The jackets I own right now has been with me for like 3 years now and they're kinda look old. So I tried looking for jackets in Giordano, F&H and Topman. There was this white jacket in Giordano that I really wanted to buy but when I went to Topman, I saw this gray jacket that really looked cool. So I had a dilemma. I restrained myself from buying and told myself that I'll wait for Sherry and ask for her opinion on the two jackets that I was eyeing on.

4:30pm and still no sign of Sherry. She didn't drive since her car was coding. She sent a text message that she was on the bus and was complaining that the bus kept waiting for passengers to aboard. I didn't want to buy tickets for the 5pm schedule when she texted me that so again, I checked out the jacket in Giordano and Topman. I really wanted it Mr. T! Anyways, 10 minutes before the movie time, finally she arrived. That's when I bought the tickets. Then we bought food. Then went inside the movie house.

Transformers 2 was a fun movie. Childish plot though. But overall, it's a movie worth watching. Megan Fox kinda looked like Angelina Jolie. I'm gay, but she was hot. After watching the movie, I told Sherry about the jackets. She easily picked the Topman jacket. She told me to think carefully because the jacket was priced at a whooping 2,000php. She asked me if it's really needed. I said NO. Then we went outside Topman laughing then I told her that I'd just treat her to dinner.

I've seen the facade of the newly renovated SM North EDSA for quite some time now but I've never been able to explore its interior. So I asked Sherry to give me a tour in the newly renovated SM then afterwards we'll find a place to eat there. So we walked til SM. Good thing there was already a footbridge from Trinoma's parking lot to SM's entrance. Or was it The Block's entrance? Anyways, there, the new look of SM North EDSA was very Trinoma-ish. It was built with fountains, trees plants, streams and glass walls (a cheap copy of Trinoma's garden on the top floor where Starbucks rest in the middle). But overall, it was good. I felt like I wasn't in an SM mall at all. Thankfully, it was a weekday and there weren't a lot of people strolling in the mall. Then we saw Max's Restaurant. Then we ate there. My treat again Mr. T! So I picked the menu.

We had a lot of catching up on our stories yesterday. Sherry even asked me about a topic that I dare not speak about ever. The conversation went awkward when she asked that "how-is" question. Hahaha! "It's been like 8 years now and we're happy for each other", that was my answer then we changed topic. Maybe, we're getting older because we're talking about kids, weddings (yes, he and Ipe are already discussing about this), work and whatever’s. Things I dread to talk about. I'm a child at heart Mr. T! Things like this don't have a place in my mind. My heart. It's reality but as always, I try to escape from reality. For me, it's like self-protection. Anyways, there, we ate. We killed ourselves with what I've ordered. We were dead full. Hahaha! The Sherry wanted to sing. Redbox was still open around 9pm so we went there.

We sang. We laughed. We danced. We drank. We got drunk. Hahaha!

Around 1PM we were still in Trinoma. We kept laughing. Then we were walking along EDSA so as we could reach the MRT station but the security guard told us that the route of the train was from South to North and no more routes from North to South. I told Sherry that I'll just hail a cab. I was really scared walking along those streets that time Mr. T! Since I've never been on that place that late. Sherry is from North so she knows the place very well and told me nothing bad will happen while we were walking. Weird really because back in college Sherry and I can walk along Recto in the middle of the night and I was not a bit scared. There were a lot of security guards in Trinoma but hell, I was sooo scared. Anyways, so there, Sherry helped me find a cab first. Then after I was in the cab, she was in already in another cab. This was a good thing since I won’t have a hard time thinking if she was okay.

As soon as I got home, I fell asleep. :D

It was flantastic. It's been 48 years since Sherry and I hang out like this. I love Sherry. I just wish she and Ipe end up together. And I'll sing in their wedding and I'll be the ninong of their child. Hahaha! Suddenly I missed all my girlfriends in La Salle.

Next, Ice Age.
