From Sushal To Mahirap
I just woke up. Super sakit ng ulo ko Mr. T! kanina. Parang gusto niyang mabiyak. As in super sakit. I’m recuperating and drinking tea with spearmint right now, so this will be quick.
Rainy Sunday Mr. T! Mom dragged me to go with them to Karl Edwards' Bazaar in NBC Tent at The Fort. Together with Tita Beth, Dindin, Ate and Erwin, we went there. It’s my first time to go with there them. They have been like going there for months now but I don’t go with them. Anyways, we were rubbing elbows with the rich people a while ago. The people who shop there probably lives in Forbes Park or Bel Air Makati or in Serendra. There were celebrities too and some people I went to school with who I haven’t seen for years. Anyways, I was there to look around not buy. There were lot of fancy things inside the bazaar. My mom, ate and tita bought a lot of things. I was with my cousin Dindin scoping the area too. I haven't seen beautiful and handsome people for the longest time Mr. T!. There were bevy of them there in the bazaar. Then it was time to eat. That was my time to shine. Actually, the bazaar is just a tiangge. Probably organized by those people who live near the area. Greenhills is still better though. To each his own of course! Then, we headed to Serendra. We took a stroll then headed to Market Market! Goodness, ang daming tao! Nastress ako! What a transition! We were comparing the people inside the mall from the people inside NBC tent and hell they were a lot different. And according to Dindin, sa Market Market Mahirap, dun sa tent, Sushal! Hahaha! Bad bad! This Sushal and Mahirap joke had already become an inside joke! Tsk tsk tsk! But hey, we're not looking down on people. Ganun na lang naging term namin. We're Mahirap too! Anyways, to my mom and sister’s shoppaholic-ness, they still bought clothes in Market Market. Then we ate in Sbarro. I really wanted to go home by myself during the time they were diving into those pool of clothes and I had nothing to do but to stare at them while sitting down while holding their paper bags. I really felt shit! While waiting for Erwin to pick us up, I saw this in Market Market and I had to take a picture of them. Colored rice! Hmmm… this made my tragic day. Dindin kept me sane too. Thanks for the laugh! Here are the colored rice:
The man in charge of the store told me that those rice were fortified with vitamins. No food coloring was added. Hmmm… I wanna try this rice one of these days. And may I just say na talo ako sa powers ng Ate ko sa palalaskwatsa! And I thought my energy for laswatsa-ing is higher. But she beat me a while ago. She never gets tired of walking and shopping and scrounging for fancy things. Hay... grabe!
And yeah, the center of my nose is wounded/burnt. Thanks to my rubbing of it since last week because of colds. Rudolph ikaw ba yan? Quick ba yun? Night!

in any case, it's a tragedy, really, how the rich can make the not-so-rich-not-so-poor feel dirt poor. (sadya or not: minsan sadya, minsan may ibang rasong 'di rin noble, minsan sadyang inggit lang ang mga tao)
