Ayun, just finished watching Mariah Carey perform on Idols Give Back and Mariah is Mariah. No more no less. Let's leave it that way. Anyways, it was an okay peformance for me. Nothing to be schocked or amazed about. She's done incredible performances in the past so whatever.

I was greeted by this text when I woke up:

Friend    : Hey Jacob, you wanna attend sa release party ng E=MC2 sa Government this 29?
Jacob    : Ay naku, kung hindi sa Government yan baka pumunta pa ko. Sorry.
Friend    : Hala anong nakain mo? Si Mariah toh ha!
Jacob    : Wala. Government and Jacob don't go together. Sorry.

There, I had to go to school for our EBISNES project presentation. Officially, today is the start of our vacation and I still do not have anything to do this summer but anyways, I'll go through with what happened today:

School

Met up with Kristine, Aubrey and Deck in Gox Lobby. Deck was still doing some final retouches and programming for our project. I had to check the faculty room whether or not our prof was present awhile ago and she was. Unfortunately, yesterday, she asked us to present around 9:30-ish but since we had to do the retouches and all, we had to present at a later time. So I saw our prof sitting on one of the benches at the lobby and I tried to call her attention. Then she mouthed "Late na kayo". So, I had to put into good use my acting skills and it worked --- hahaha. She asked us to be back around 1pm cause she'd be attending a meeting at that moment, say around 11:30pm. But thanks to our lucky stars, she just asked us to CD burn our project and then just submit it to her. Now, I wonder if our project will work on her system since the database and the resin are configured to work on Deck's laptop. Anyways, Kristine, in all her glory, brought her newly bought Compaq laptop! Yeah, I remember that laptop model being more expensive than my laptop before. Ayun, so, all of us have a laptop now. No room for selfishness during our future stays in Conserv or in the Lobby --- hahaha. Then Aubrey had to leave early, I was really expecting Tagaytay a while ago but sayang, Aubrey really wanted to leave early nga. Anyways, then we parted ways and Kristine and I were left inside the train. We wanted to check apartments around Katipunan but the weather was so hot a while ago so we just decided to go to Ga(y)teway.

Dairy Queen

First stop, Dairy Queen. Thanks to Dairy Queen, our body temperature a while ago got repaired. I swear, the Mango Cheesecake Blizzard that I had was the most delightful Blizzard I've ever tasted from Dairy Queen. Or was it just really hot that time? But anyways, Kristine put out her laptop and we tried abusing Araneta Center's free Wifi service. Just when we thought, we'd be spending the whole day making tambay in DQ, the laptop's battery life was running out. So, we looked for an electric outlet. DQ had one but unfortunately, it was dead! So we thought of Ga(y)teway's Foodcourt. So, we went to the foodcourt and tried hunting for a seat near an electrical outlet. We saw one but it was fully covered and masking tapes gave us signals that they don't allow people to use their electricity! Mean mean! So we had to find a Restaurant that would give us the luxury of charging Kristine's laptop. We tried Terriyaki Boy but they don't a have a seat near an outlet. We saw this Italian resto but Kristine didn't want to eat Pizza and Italian stuff. And so I read, while going down the elevator --- "Shabu-Shabu". OMG! So Kristine was like "Oh ayan diyan! Malamang may saksakan yan!". The hell! It was a Gloria Maris Shabu-Shabu house! I thought Tin was just joking but what happened next was I found myself looking at Gloria Maris' menu and my poor wallet. So there. Hahaha...

Hot Pot, Sea Weeds, Century Eggs, Crab Sticks, Vegetables, Meatballs, Squids, Fish etc etc. While the service crew was cooking our meal infront of us awhile ago, Kristine was laptop-ing, and I was cellphon-ing. Good thing my cellphone is Wi-Fi capable else I'd be staring and looking like kawawa on Kristine's laptop while she's laptop-ing. So there. Here's what happened:

Service Crew    : Sir ihiwalay po natin yung gulay kasi baka ma over-cook
Jacob        : Sige hiwalay mo na
Service Crew    : Sir gusto niyo gawan ko kayo ng sauce
Jacob        : Meron na ko, ayan oh *points at his sauce*
Service        : Sige

sir, ayan, okay na maya maya. May kailangan pa kayo
Jacob        : Wala na po. Sige sige salamat

*Service Crew left*

Kristine    : Shet Jacob, todo asikaso ka nung lalaki ah
Jacob        : Gaga!
Kristine    : Eh, andito ko ikaw kinausap buong time
Jacob        : Anober!

Anyways, the food was bountiful. We were expecting Ivan to come so we ate slowly. While eating we were downloading games, applications, etc etc. Then Ivan finally arrived. So there, we talked, we laughed, pig-ed ourselves then it was time for the bill. Good thing our student-allowances managed to get through the bill. Then, after paying, the Service Crew (this time a lady), gave us a different receipt and a different change.

The change was more than our change. So I called her attention then said "Nakakainis honest kami, pero mali talaga yung resibo namin. Baka malugi kayo niyan". She thanked me then we left Gloria Maris.

Then we strolled ulit. Digested the food we ate. Then went back to Dairy Queen to made tambay for 2 more hours. Tin and Ivan smoked. Marlboro pala doesn't smell nice. I was left with my cellphone. Ayun, download games, Youtube, YM...etc etc. Then Ivan got hunry again so he bought Hotdogs in the Cinema Area. Then, we stayed for a few minutes then we left. And now, kagigising ko lang and Deck PM'd me my EMTECH final exam grade. I don't know if that 80 will do me any good in the final grade. So there, sayang talaga, Aubrey and Deck and Matty wala kayo!
