I was reading blogs last night before going to bed and I came accross Jemima's Tabulas page. I asked her if I could re-post the entry she put up last night and she said yes. So here it goes:

"According to this night's sermon, there are three kinds of love: the "If" love, the "because" love, and the "inspite of" love. The "If" love is a conditional love. Conditions like, "I'll love you if you buy me gifts" or "My love for you will stay forever if you give me everything I want". The second kind of love, the "because" love, is loving for a reason. "I love you because you took care of me" or "I love you because you were there when I needed someone to lean on". And lastly, the "inspite of" love or the divine love. "I love you inspite of your faults." It is love given freely, with no conditions or no reason at all. It is loving someone for who they really are."
